         HALF YEARLY EXAM HALF YEARLY EXAM Half yearly exam begins on 13th December for all classes and ends up at 6th January. DATE : 18. 12. 2023 – 01. 12. 2024 HOLIDAY FOR SCHOOL 18th to 23rd December the holidays was announced for school due to heavy rain.   Half yearly holidays was announced for 10 days (23.10.2023 – 01. 01. 2024)

      SEPTEMBER MONTH  DATE : 11.09.2023 – 15.09.2023 CHILDREN AWARENESS PROGRAM 11th September the meeting was organised for class 6-12 boys and girls seperately in the auditorium to know the importance of education and drug awareness and the speech gave by child care and drug control and prevention officer from Thoothukudi.   OBSERVATION CLASS   In this week the class was taken by the Madam and I observed the class . I observed how Madam introduced the class , presentation, method adopted, use of teaching aids, correlation, students reaction towards the class, review, assignment, class management and discipline and overall performance of the class.  DIAGNOSTIC TESTS I conducted diagnostic tests for class 9th on 14.09.2023 and for class 8th on 13.09.2023.  

                      DECEMBER MONTH DATE : 20. 11. 2023 – 4. 12. 2023 HOLIDAY FOR SCHOOL 23rd November the holiday was announced for school due to heavy rain. II – MIDTERM TEST  II midterm test started on 27th November and ends up at 4th December. DECEMBER DATE : 5. 12. 2023 – 22. 12. 2023 WORLD SOIL DAY 5th December, myself with my co – teacher educators celebrated “world soil day” and we planted some trees on this special occasion CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION Christmas was celebrated in our school on 5th December. Various programs were organized. Our students performed dance, sing songs, dramas etc. The celebration ends up with sharing sweets to students sponsored by Mrs. Shobana mam.

    TEACHING INTERNSHIP                PRACTICE   Friday, September 8, 2023                                                    In 80 days teaching practice , I am selected to be trained at St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Virapandianpatanam with 8 student teachers from our college. We met headmistress and she introduced the guide teacher to us . Mrs.Santhi mam and Mrs. Jemima mam was my guide teacher for  level 1and 2.

               OCTOBER MONTH DATE : 3. 10. 2023 – 31. 10. 2023 TEACHING LEVEL 1 : I handled 6th class. I have started 2nd unit “ Trip to ooty” on 3rd October.  . I have started 2nd unit-Poem "From a Railway Carriage" on 18th October LEVEL 2 : I handled 9th class. I have started 4th unit “ Seventeen Oranges” on 6th October. I have started 5th unit “ River" on 3rd October.  EDUCATIONAL TOUR 6th October, the educational tour was arranged for 6 – 8 classes. They visited Kanniyakumari, Pathmanathan palace, thotti palam, thirparappu falls. POOJA HOLIDAY 21 – 24 th  October,  the school was closed for pooja holidays.

             NATIONAL SPORTS DAY Tuesday, August 29, 2023 In our college National sports day was celebrated in the multi purpose hall and the special speech gave by Dr. M. Kuppan M.P. Ed., M. Phil., Ph. d., PG dip in yoga from Sivanthi Aditanar college of education. Finally the meeting ended with the National Anthem.

        DEMONSTRATION CLASS Monday, August 28, 2023 In our college teacher educators of various pedagogy explained the teaching techniques through demonstration method and finally at the end of the session student – teachers Abinaya and Richard Bennett gave feedback about the demonstration class.

        NATIONAL TEACHERS DAY Tuesday , September 5, 2023 Our college celebrate teachers day celebration , our special chief guest gave valuable thoughts about how to be a good teacher and share his experience to got the best teacher award. Finally the day end with good memories.

                      THIRD SEMESTER In our college third semester was started at 16th August. The Teacher educators explained the various records for teaching internship practice.

          QUARTERLY EXAM AND                                        HOLIDAYS DATE : 18.09.2023 – 27.09.2023 GANESH CHATURTHI Ganesh Chaturthi holiday on 18th September.  QUARTERLY EXAM Quarterly exam begins on 19th September for all classes and ends up at 27th September. DATE : 28.09.2023 – 2.10.2023 QUARTERLY HOLIDAYS All students were successfully completed the quarterly test and quarterly holidays was announced for 5 days.

                   NOVEMBER MONTH DATE : 1. 11. 2023 – 16. 11. 2023 ALL SOULS DAY 2nd November half day leave was announced for all souls day. TEACHING LEVEL 1 : I handled 9th class. I have started 6th “light” on 3rd November. LEVEL 2 : I handled 11th class. I have started 9th unit “kinetic theory of gases” on 3rd November. I have started 10th unit “oscilations” on 7th November. I have started 11th unit “waves” on 16th November. DIWALI HOLIDAY 11 – 13th November , the holiday was announced for Diwali.
